People listen up: the City and the police are "concerned that that this event could include public nudity and constitute public indecency... public nudity is a criminal offence and that the Law Enforcement agencies are duty bound to intervene to ensure that all applicable laws and/or by-laws are upheld and not transgressed." In order not to ruin the whole event, we strongly encourage people to be "less daring" and wear enough to not be "publicly indecent". Although we may not agree with these laws personally, we would rather pull off a successful event. So please come to the ride tomorrow, and participate in good spirit. Be creative, wear something silly (as well as your cycling helmet), but in the interests of the ride going ahead, maybe tone down the nudity...

You would like to take part but you don't have a bike?
No problem, as in the year before, the Bicycling Empowerment Network SA (BEN) will provide bikes for use on Saturday. (Unfortunately,) BEN has to charge for the rental this year. If you would like to rent a bike or if you need more information you may contact Andrew from BEN directly.
